Flax Seeds, also known as linseed, are small oil-rich seeds high in omega-3 fatty acids (alpha-linolenic acid), protein and fibre. Added to bird seed mixes, they support healthy feathers and condition, especially during moulting and breeding. They are also used as a supplement in poultry, pigeon, horse and other livestock rations.

Feeding tips: Mix in small amounts with your regular seed mix or feed rather than feeding on its own, since flax is high in oil. Provide clean drinking water at all times. Store in a cool, dry place in a sealed container to keep the seeds fresh and prevent the oils from going rancid.
