Rape Seeds (rapeseed) are small, round, dark seeds rich in oil and protein. They are a traditional part of canary and finch diets and are commonly blended with canary grass seed, niger and linseed to make a balanced seed mix. They are also liked by goldfinches, siskins, linnets and other small seed-eating birds.

Feeding tips: Use as part of a seed mix rather than as the only feed, since rapeseed is high in oil. Provide fresh greens, grit and clean drinking water at all times. Store in a cool, dry place in a sealed container to keep the seeds fresh and free from pests.
